Great gift for your best friend
There's a lot of room for our guy to carry water and whatever else he may need on the trails. The only reason he knows it is on him is because of the added weight we put in the pack itself.

Awesome
Got this for my dog and she took to it very quickly. Once its adjusted it stays pretty well, however some of the clips can become loose as your dog is trekking. My dog is 45 lbs and a small was perfect.

Great design
Isabel picked the REI pack because the features were better than the other packs. I am a 1 year old Australian/Greman Shepard mix 30-35 pounds. Small is to small and would not adju

Great purchase for my Pitt
I bought this pack so that I could carry more of my own gear for longer trips. I was able to fit her REI food and water bowl with 5 days of food (I did carrier her water). Not only was it functional and good looking but it was reasonably priced compared to ruffwears comparable dogpacks. One unexpected use was safety which I learned fast would become important. My 3 yr old pitt had come a little to close the edge of a steep drop off a few times and I was able to grab her quickly and get her up to safety. This was a life saving tool for my trip and couldn't be happier I bought it.

Happy with this dog pack!
I'm happy with this pack for my 55 pound mixed breed dog. I ordered a M and it fits well. Some of the straps are a bit loose, but it stays in place when the weight is evenly distributed. My dog runs through the forest and across streams ch

love my new pack
This is a very nice pack. The two sturdy zippered pouches have no dividers, but are spacious. For a small-medium dog (19" and 34 pounds) the small size fits well. I don't think it would fit a dog much smaller than this. He was ready to roll as soon as he got this on. The pack, even fully loaded, did not impede his walking or running. A bit of extra weight was useful for slowing this fast dog down a bit.

Not the perfect fit, but still great
We have an 11-yr-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (35 lbs), Molly, and an 8-mo-old Olde English Bulldogge (55 lbs), Jack. The small Classic Dog Pack fits them both. It's a tad big on Molly and just fits Jack, but they each carried it with 1-litre of water for about 3.5 kms with no

A-MA-ZING
I have a lab mix german short hair (60lbs), she is quite a hunter, and she used to drag me crazy on walks, she would walk me more than the opposite. I read a bunch of stuff online about dog backpacks, how it would make the dog think they're on a mission etc.. did not believe much u

Great pack
I have an 11 year old 55 pound English Pointer and the medium fits him pretty well. Though the chest strap is almost as tight as possible. He is older now and it does tire him out a little but if he was younger I can't imagine it affecting him at all. Good capacity, have not taken him on a backpacking trip yet just for long walks and put two small bottles and a bowl in them. The first time I put a 20 ounce bottle in one side it started sagging so the weight in each pouch has to be relatively close. He didn't seem to mind after a few minutes, and now whenever he sees me handling the pack to put on him he gets excited because it means time for a walk.
