REI Cascade Rain Jacket - Boys'

The waterproof and breathable REI Cascade rain jacket keeps boys dry, comfortable and ready to hike in the rain or stomp in puddles. Jacket features a PVC-free waterproof, breathable coating; it's also wind resistant up to 60 mph. Hood with brim is fully adjustable and features elastic at the opening to help keep hood in place on his head. External stormflap on zipper and adjustable cuffs help seal out moisture. The REI Cascade rain jacket features hand pockets and reflective piping.

Solid gear for kids

Bought this for my son (4 years old) and it has been a great shell for the weather in the DC area where hot or cold it seems like it is always raining. This size runs true and there is still room for base layers as needed. It has also been good in the summer as it is light weight but still provides the protection for the afternoon thunderstorm.

Kept the rain off.

Says breathable, but was a bit damp on the inside after a 2 mile hike. Wish there was some way to add zippers to the pockets...maybe velcro?
