It's actually black...
I bought these in a SMALL for my 4 year old who is 43" tall and 40 lbs, and they fit great with a little room to layer underneath and grow. Slightly baggy, but she doesn't walk on them due to the grip of the built in gaiter. Pretty standard snow pants, and the color is a true dark black, not the grey/silver pictured. Nothing special or fantastic about the pants, but after a couple months and dozens of hours sledding, skiing, hiking, etc... they show no signs of wear and I've heard no complaints about being cold or wet. What more can you ask for?

Waist too tight
The waist is disproportionately small, and it's not adjustable. Too bad, b/c otherwise it's a great snow pant. But it actually hurts my kid to sit with it on (and she has a normal, slender physique). To go up a size would result in a pant 3-4 inches too long.
