The 2010 Princeton Tec Apex Pro headlamp provides the power and versatility required for nearly any outing, whether you're a casual camper or professional adventurer. Apex Pro features an intense high-output LED with optimized lens that casts an incredibly bright beam, illuminating objects up to 96m (315 ft.) away. 4 standard 5mm LEDs surround the high-output LED; use these for softer light and extended battery life. Select from 2 lighting levels on both the high-output LED and standard LEDs to meet your lighting needs; features a flashing emergency strobe. Power-regulated circuit board ensures consistent lighting levels; Apex Pro provides 1.5 hrs. of regulated light and 15 hrs. of total burn time with the high-output LED on high. Get up to 35 hrs. of burn time with the 5mm LEDS on low. Proprietary heat sink technology prevents light from getting too hot and damaging the LEDs. 3-strap headband holds light in place; user can quickly detach the top-of-head strap if desired. High-grade materials ensure durability and strong resistance to water, weather and environmental conditions.
