Great leash with instant results
I have a small puppy about 8 months old who constantly lunged on walks and was simply not a great walker. After chewing up the clasps on his harness, I looked at REI for a new one and came across the gentle leader. On the first walk I immediately noticed a difference. The leader is so effective at redirecting dogs that from the get-go, walking was a breeze and more enjoyable for our pup and the whole family. I can only imagine what a difference it could make to a large dog. Bonus was the instructional DVD.

Perfect for dogs who pull!
My dog loved to drag me everywhere, and it was getting to a point where I didn't even want to walk him anymore. I bought this and he immediately stopped. Be sure to read the directions/watch the video before actually using it. (I'm one of those people who don't ever read directions and couldn't figure out how to put it on!)
