Expensive, but great. Limited sizing.
I climb and have a daily Ashtanga practice. I've been on the warpath for a while looking for decent men's yogawear, a significantly underrepresented demographic. I've used my Stretch Zion shorts and pants for all my yoga and climbing needs for a few years, but needed some additional pieces, and I didn't like the fixed waist size and slightly bulky design of the Stretch Zion pieces for yoga. For example, the cargo pocket that I never use make the shorts bulkier than I prefer. I insist on a crotch gusset for yoga and comfort while wearing a harness, and no cotton. These shorts are very nice. Very light, stretchy, silky. The board-short closure is attractive, though perhaps less functional than the elastic on the Mojo short. They dry very quickly, hold almost no moisture, and allow fantastic range of motion. Nice, decently deep pockets, no unnecessary cargo pockets or such silliness. They're extremely expensive at MSRP, they look rather like boxer underwear (though way more modest than most men's yoga shorts), and only time will tell how durable they are. However, I bought two pairs at retail, which says something about how much I like them. My biggest complaint is that the waist size is rather fixed, the laces do not allow me to cinch them down for practice and loose for casual use. Intermediate sizing would help. Also, Prana, please call these yoga shorts. Why on earth would you wear them for travel?
