Polar OwnOptimizer feature is an easy test to determine whether your training is optimal for improving performance; feature helps you avoid over training or under training. 5 preset sport zones offer an easy way to select and monitor the intensity of your training; choose between very light, light, moderate, hard and maximum sport zones. Polar OwnZone® feature determines an individual training zone and guides you through an appropriate warmup routine based on your current physical condition. Watch offers average, minimum and maximum heart rate during total exercise time; includes time spent in target zone. Visual and audible alarm alerts you every time your heart rate exceeds the upper limit or falls below the lower limit of your target zone. Polar OwnCal® counts and displays calories burned during a training session; also displays accumulated kilocalories from several training sessions for long-term goals. Measures altitude with an atmospheric air pressure sensor; altitude is shown as ascended and descended meters/feet and uphill and downhill steepness in percentages and grades.
