More than 5,000 Trees Planted on behalf of the Trails.com Community.

In April, we set out to celebrate Earth Day by planting thousands of trees on behalf of our existing community. We also committed to planting one additional tree for each new subscriber that joined us during the month.

What a difference a month makes!

As April ends, we’re finishing strong with more than 5,000 trees planted. According to our partners at American Forests, that’s nearly 25 acres - enough to fill Texas Stadium twice over. In just one year, the trees we’ve planted will consume enough carbon dioxide to offset over half of a million miles of driving.

The positive response from our community has been so overwhelming that we’ve decided to make the Eco Program a permanent feature on Trails.com. We’ll be exploring new and creative ways to give back to our environment, so keep an eye out for announcements later this year.

Planting more than 5,000 trees is a huge accomplishment, and underscores our community’s love for the outdoors. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. We’ve already made a huge difference, and we’re just getting started.
