Description

Petzl Meteor III+ Climbing Helmet

The ultralight, well-ventilated Petzl Meteor III+ climbing helmet delivers amazing comfort that lets you to stay focused on reaching the summit. Easily adjust the helmet's nape strap, chin strap and headband strap for just the right feel; adjustment system retracts for easy storage and transport. Polycarbonate shell is lined with expanded polysteyrene to absorb impacts. Helmet weighs a mere 235g (8.3 oz). Interior comfort foam is removable and washable. 4 clips secure a headlamp (sold separately) for late-night vertical use. Includes carry bag for storage and transport. 1 size fits all head circumferences 53 - 61cm (20.8 - 24 in.). Compatible with the Petzl Vizion face shield (not included). Petzl Meteor III+ climbing helmet meets UIAA and CE specifications for climbing.

Highly Recommended!

This helmet is so comfortable and lightweight, I often leave it on all day. I barely even notice it's there. It's like wearing a hat. Have not used it in extremely cold conditions. I could see my head possibly getting cold if ice climbing. Not sure what the fit would be like if I tied to wear a fleece beanie under it.
