ELITE Transfer stretch fabric transfers moisture to the outer surface for fast evaporation and all-day comfort; In-R-Cool technology reduces overheating and perspiraton. In-R-Cool technology brings the cooling benefits and sun protection of white fabrics to dark fabrics; technology reflects UV rays and reduces fabric temperature. With a UPF 50+ rating, fabric provides excellent protection against harmful ultraviolet rays. Anatomic 8-panel design eliminates the inseam and potential pressure points. 4-way stretch 3D Elite chamois has 13mm of 3-layer variable density plush microfiber padding to reduce friction and provide padding in key areas. Pressure Relief Technology gender-specific chamois reduces pressure points via differentiated levels of padding; chamois also wicks moisture off skin. Preshaped chamois features active carbon yarns to help regulate body temperature and reduce static-induced fatigue. Fusion technology bonds dual-density padding surfaces to eliminate seams, thereby enhancing comfort. Traditional leg length maximizes muscle support and coverage. Silicone dots on hems act as grippers to hold shorts in place. The Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool® bike shorts feature reflective highlights that improve nighttime profile.
