Panaracer Fire XC Pro Bike Tire - 26 x 2.1

The Fire XC Pro tire offers excellent traction and cornering over just about any terrain without the penalty of high rolling resistance or soft, fast-wearing tread. BAX technology weaves super-high-density, extremely narrow 0.14mm diameter cord into the casing for lightness and flexibility, improving resistance to cuts and abrasions. Proprietary anti-rebound rubber strips reduce the chance of pinch flats by an average of 40%. 3D Knobs positioned in multiple directions maintain traction and durability when riding on the tire's sides. Silica compounds added to the tread increases grip, and vastly improves tire life.

Great tire!!! love it!

I have this tires mounted on my cannondale hardtail bike. Used it mostly on singletrack in the foothills. The weather, condition of the track that I usually ride on are dry, sometimes sandy, and loose gravel. The tires are very well grippy on steep climbs. The sidewalls are grippy as well when making corners. I haven't had any pinch flats when I run on lower psi. Haven't had any flats either, I run slime tube and tire liner (full of goat-heads where I'm from.) The life of this tires will last longer if I don't ride it on pavements. Paved roads will just eat the threads on this. Best if used on dirt roads. If you are planning on using it on the paved roads, I would opt out for something else.
