Not Warm Enough
Failed to provide adequate warmth or protection from wind even in urban settings. Found similar Columbia hats (Central Point Earflap and Internunico Ear Flap) much more effective against both cold and wind. I also bought and tried Outdoor Research's Frostline Hat, but found it to have the same issues.Both hats, moreover, have adjustment mechanisms in the back that protrude and thus uncomfortably poke, for example, when resting in seats with headrests.
