Great little pack
Used this pack today doing trail work. Light and roomy. Great to hold gloves, water, extra string trimmer line and snacks.

Nice Lightweight Day Pack
I bought this daypack primarily to go with my Osprey Porter. I wanted to get the daypack that attaches to the Porter before it got discontinued. The pros first:1. It fits on the Porter nicely and makes a good carrying bag system.2. It is small and ideal for using as a bag for day trips from the place you are staying. 3. It can also be used for regular day hikes if you pack it carefully. It is small. I can get my essentials plus a small camera and rain gear, with some room to spare.Cons:1. It does not have a padded waist belt. I has a web belt the keeps the pack from slipping side to side

Good, but no room for small jacket
I bought this back mainly because it mounts onto my Aether 60 and wanted to use it for airplane carry-on and daypack when on vacation around Europe. It's well-made and sturdy, but after trying it for a while I ended up really feeling limited by it and wishing I had a different pack. Firstly, there is no shock cord on the top or other way to stuff a jacket except in the main pocket. If it had that, I would have been much happier with it. My jacket is not that bulky but I still needed to carry it in my hand since it would not fit with the pack. The side pockets could maybe be used but as others mention they are not secure and I worried the jacket would fall out. Secondly, I didn't like the small second pocket. It's very shallow and could barely fit a phone and a couple other things. Finally, there aren't any little loops or other helpful areas to a

Just what we needed
The pack serves multiple purposes & we find it more flexible than some of the other brands that we have. This is primarily due to the support that is built into the bag.

Keep the bottles in
Several reviewers have commented on the difficulty of keeping bottles in the outside pockets. I use "glove cats" available from REI for extra insurance. Clip the ends to the bottle pocket after running the strap through the loop on the water bottle. These little straps, meant for keeping a kid's mittens attached to the coat, are really multi-purpose. This pack is still new for me, but I am impressed and love how comfortable it is to carry.

Empty Pockets Equal Better Hiking
Not enough fanny for a fanny pack. Phone, keys, first aid kit all hanging off my shoulders, instead of hips. Easy to carry water, and a few snacks. This thing is great!

Perfect daypack
Hauled this back around Spain where it was on my back for two weeks straight. It is the perfect size for water, camera, travel books, sweater, etc. Hardly noticed I had it on.

Great Day Hike Pack
I wish the water bottle pockets on the side were deeper. My Nalgene bottle will slip out of you lay the pack down

functional little day pack
I bought this daypack for my hiking trip to Assisi, Italy. I wanted something super light that wouldn't take up much room in my carryon luggage (I don't check bags) but sized properly to carry typical day hike necessities. I've used it locally in preparing for the trip. This bag has one big main compart

Excellent small daypack!
Bought this for a two-day trip to Disneyland with my 5-year-old grandson. This was exactly what I had been looking for!It is small enough to wear in crowds and while standing in line. Enough carrying capacity for a hat, two jackets, wallet, keys, etc. plus two pockets for water bottles. The sternum strap and waist strap took the load off of my shoulders and put it onto my legs, which was wonderful.Despite 12-hour days and 10 miles of walking each day, my shoulders never got tired.Love this daypack! It was perfect for Disneyland!

Just what I was looking for!
I volunteer for a couple of "site steward" programs and for a rock art research project, so I use a daypack constantly. It has to be comfortable and not get in my way when I'm climbing over large boulders and thr

Great pack for the money
I wasn't even looking for a pack when I was in the store, but I saw this was on sale and picked it up. I've used it twice so far skiing (even though it isn't designed for that), but it was nice to have my stuff with me. It's small and light enough that it didn't get in my way. I'm sure I'll be using it for my day hikes. I have an REI daypack that I've been using and love, but when I don't need to carry a lot of stuff, this will be my go-to pack.
