Cork grips absorb sweat and stay warmer to the touch than plastic grips. Straps wrap around the hands for good pole control. OneWay Diamond 930 AV cross-country ski poles include touring baskets.

Sturdy Poles

Only thing I don't like are the straps. The velcro sticks to my wool gloves, and the way the straps are designed it is hard to get the end of the strap through the buckle opening. After you have the straps secure they are secure, but they can be inconvenient if you want to do something with your hands. I would recommend a model that has quick release straps.
