The 10-acre property was once part of a large ancient Hawaiian community. Here you'll find a replica of King David Kalakaua's cottage, restored heiau (ancient stone temples), a canoe landing and the Po'o Hawaii pond, sacred bathing pool once used by ancient royalty. Complimentary cultural activities include Hawaiian language classes, ancient Hawaiian games, lei making and ukulele lessons. Workshops, presentations and special events are offered during the course of the year. Huaka'i Ali'i Tour, a 90-minute walking tour through the historic sites of Keauhou-Kahalu'u is offered 3 times a week, adults for $20 and children for $10. Three onsite restaraunts to choose from and the Kama'aina Terrace offers complimentary self-service breakfast buffet daily to guests only.
