NRS Paddle Wetshoe Water Shoes

Step into the NRS Paddle Wetshoe water shoes, wade into your favorite waters and enjoy the experience with warm, protected feet. 3mm neoprene uppers with fleece linings offer excellent insulation especially if you frequently suffer from chilly toes. Gusseted, zippered sides open wide to facilitate foot entry and close tightly around ankle to enhance fit. Padded ankle patches reduce pesky ankle-bone pressure when you're inside the kayak. 5mm neoprene insoles offer cushy comfort. 3mm traction soles wrap around the uppers, adding protection to the sides of your feet and your heels. Whole sizes only; order up to accommodate half sizes. Women should order 1 size smaller than your regular shoe size.

Good water shoes

I used these shoes for a week of fishing off the lava rock and sand shores of Hawaii. Traction was good on all but the slipperiest algae covered wet rock. I wore a light neoprene cycling sock for a good fit. I wore them swimming for protection from coral, but actual swimming would have been better in bare feet. Sand stayed out of my shoe and socks for the most part, but I did have a little trouble with sand in the zipper when unzipping. The zipper is beefy enough though to bust through any debris. j/k on the casual wear, at least in Hawaii, maybe OK in Portland?.

These are pretty great shoes. Great fit. I have smaller feet and they don't flop all over the place like some booties. I throw them in the washer regularly, but don't recommend the dryer. They held up fine, but got a weird stink from the glue.
