Solid blend, still stinky
This shirt was a solid component to my backpacking trip. Four total days in the Grand Canyon. Worn every day with a Flash 65 loaded to 35 pounds and sweating, sweating, sweating. With the wind it did quickly dry. The pocket was almost cut off (my intention) but found the "geek pocket" useful at camp. Lighter, bottle cap, pocket knife all were at hand. The wool-poly blend was nice to touch but the poly kept the stink. I have other shirts made by other wool only companies and they never smelled as much as this did. It pilled up on my shoulders where the pack straps were but that was acceptable given the mileage. 34 miles in 4 days. One 12 mile day in there so, yeah, it's paces were put through. Will wear the shirt again soon but will stick to pure wool tee shirts going forward.
