Designed for climbing expeditions when all you have is your pack, The North Face women's Verto jacket packs down to the size of an energy bar and is an alpinist's best friend in emergency situations! Durable Pertex® Quantum ripstop nylon shell is wind- and water-resistant and incredibly lightweight, and resists abrasion. The North Face Verto jacket features 1 bicep pocket; elastic-bound hem, cuffs and hood. Stretch loop in pocket helps compress jacket for stowing in bicep pocket. The North Face Summit Series™ apparel is designed and tested for use in harsh environments.

Best Friend of skinny Alpine Climbers

First off this jacket is an amazing concept: size of a tennis ball, absolute minimum weight in a wind and water resistant breathable jacket. She couldn't notice it on her harness but loved having it in 30mph winds of early March on the 3rd and 4th pitch.Fit is much smaller than usual. Normally my wife wears Sm or Med, but needed to get the Lrg even though she has a 15in torso and A/B cup. With that said the Lrg is great. She has very skinny arms and the cuffs are just big enough to not cut off circulation. These would not work on most humans. RnD needs to step up thier game.For her 5 stars, everyone else heads up on size and cuffs.
