The North Face Nuptse 2 Down Vest - Women's

A sleeveless version of the classic, high-loft down jacket, The North Face Nuptse 2 down vest, designed just for women, delivers plush core warmth during harsh winter weather. Polyester faille shell fabric is wind resistant, water resistant and downproof. Double-layer taffeta on shoulders increases durability and has a Durable Water Resistant finish that repels moisture. Ample 700-fill-power goose down is extremely warm, lightweight and compressible. Full-length front zipper has an internal draft flap, and collar is lined with soft microfiber. Hem drawcord holds in warmth. The North Face Nuptse 2 features 2 zip hand pockets, 1 of which doubles as a stuff sack; also includes an interior chest pocket.

Wife loves it!

I got my wife this vest so that she would quit borrowing mine and it did the trick. She is always cold, but doesn't complain when she's wearing the vest. She even wore it skiing with just a shell over it, and was comfortable. Highly recommended.

very comfortable and cool looking

I bought the men's version of the North Face vest and wore it to my daughter's home during Christmas. When she saw it, she commented that I was "cool" and stylish. It seems that people wear these things as a sort of fashion statement. She told me she would like to have one, but could not afford to buy it. So I surprised her by ordering one from REI and had it delivered to her house. She is thrilled with it! She sent a picture of her wearing it and I think she looks "cool" in her stylish new vest.
