Stay fully protected from nature's beatdown in the Leonidas jacket from The North Face. It's waterproof and breathable, and all its seams are sealed. Stretch nylon fabric with HyVent® waterproof, breathable technology uses a multilayer polyurethane coating for waterproof protection and durability. All seams are sealed for weather-tight protection. The North Face Leonidas jacket features zippered hand pockets and a hood with a laminated brim. Polyurethane-coated zippers enhance weather protection. Dual pit zippers let you quickly and easily control core temperature, expelling excess body heat as needed during high activity. Rip-and-stick adjustable cuffs. The North Face Summit Series™ apparel is designed and tested for use in harsh environments.

Worth it

Excellent rain jacket. The material stretches and moves with you for a very comfortable fit. It is very light and packable, easy to toss in a daypack just in case. It is a little on the pricy side but well worth it. There are less expensive jackets but non that perform as well. Soft shells soak through, other hard shells are less comfortable and more restrictive, this just works.There is elastic in the cuff and around the inner portion of the hood to keep everything where it should be. This keeps water out of the sleeves and allows the hood to move with your head and not flop down in front of your eyes. Overall a well thought out jacket with some great finishing touches.
