Size Down!!
Go down a size; I'm 6' 0" 180 lbs with a 41 inch chest(traditionally in between a medium and a large). I originally ordered a medium by just going off of the size chart but found it to be far too large and boxy in the body. I had to go with a small for it to fit through the body - there is a little range of motion restriction through the shoulders, but I didn't have much issue with it when going on a solo trip up in the boundary waters. Outside of the size issue, this shirt is awesome - literally bomb proof. As I said earlier, I wore it in the boundary waters where you're canoing, portaging, hiking, fishing, and hacking down dead trees for firewood. No sign of wear or even dirt. Dried extremely quickly in the cuffs when pulling fish out of the water and dealing with rain. I wish more technical clothing brands would get smart and not make their clothes out of cotton as it's absolutely is worthless when wet. Well done North Face for designing a shirt that is as comfortable as cotton, but holds up better in the elements!I've worn this out in the Minneapolis and St. Paul night life and received a ton of compliments. Perfect for the outdoors AND the urban jungle!

Love it
Yeah yeah yeah, "The North Face" is a big corporate entity. They make great shirts. This shirt is awesome. Looks oh so casual yet you can get it doused and still wear it. It also is incredibly wrinkle resistant. It's more of a cool weather shirt than a full on flannel, but if you only have access to one long sleeved button down, this should be on the short list. I love my shirt. It's a performer in disguise. I wear this around town, backpacking, for my "walk of shame", I pretty much live in this shirt. I've even showered with it to wash it..Weird, I know..The only 2 button downs I wear these days are this one and my much beloved red Orvis flannel. Between these two I'm covered.
