The North Face Docking Station Tent
The North Face Docking Station is a canopy-style, floorless tent with full-coverage, roll-up walls. It's a durable campground or basecamp 6-person tent, and is large enough to cover a picnic table. Pair the Docking Station with the optional Mesh Room and either/both of the attachable sleeping docks and you have a setup that's ideal for large group activities and events. This single-wall structure really excels in a "24 Hours of Moab” type of camping experience or a family camping outing where parents and kids want their own sleeping space. Perimeter floor eases pitching and the open floor design is perfect for cooking, eating and camp chores; add the optional footprint if you want ground coverage. External Fusion Pitch combines pole sleeves and pole twist-clips for added strength and support, as well easy setup. Comprehensive color-coded pitch makes simple work of tent setup. Full-coverage, roll-up walls offer privacy and protection, or views and ventilation. Duffel-style storage sack makes packing and transporting the Docking Station a breeze. Includes stuff sacks, steel stakes/guyline and setup instructions. Average minimum weight specification is based on tent and poles only. Optional 2-person Docks can be added to each side, and a 4-person Dock can be added to the rear of the Station, creating room for an additional 8 people. 2- and 4-person Docks, Mesh Room and footprint are all sold separately.
