Long Live Winter!
I am a student at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho and it snows about 6 months of the year here and plowing is mediocre at best. I needed to cut back on how much money I spend on gas so I started riding my bike to school. I waned to continue to ride through the Winter so I bought these tires. Compared to the prices of other studded tires these are a flat-out steal! I feel more comfortable riding on these tires than I do walking on the roads. They work perfectly on ice, snow, and pavement. There are really only two downsides to these tires. They are difficult to put on and you're supposed to ride them on a hard surface for the first 30 miles to embed the studs so buy them long before your first snow storm. Other than that, Winter commuters, eat your heart out!
