GPS by TomTom provides accurate speed and distance data while running outdoors; monitor tracks time, distance, average pace, real-time pace and calories burned. Simply tap the screen with a finger to mark laps or activate the backlight during a run; screen is designed for quick, strong taps and is not a fully functional touch screen. While running, use the scroll button to check your time, distance, pace and calories burned; customize the data you see during a run using Nike+ Connect software (included). Monitor keeps track of your 50 most recent runs so you can review them; set automatic run reminders that alert you when a run hasn't been logged in the past 5 days. Run a personal best and the SportWatch will give you an "attaboy" as encouragement. Link to a heart rate monitor, such as the Polar WearLink+ Transmitter Nike+ heart rate strap (sold separately), to track your heart rate while exercising. Wrist strap features built-in USB contacts so you can simply plug the watch directly into a USB port on your computer to upload run data and recharge the battery. Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 8 hrs. of use with the GPS or Nike+ sensor on; provides up to 50 hrs. of standby use.
