MTI APF PFD

I use this PFD for kayaking on a regular basis and I really like it. I bought this PFD in the "periwinkle" color from a separate retailer and it is beautiful and looks great on a female. While it is slightly bulky, the foam floatation material sticks out from the body significantly less than other vests of comparable design. I am a 5'3 and approx 115lbs female and this vest fits wonderfully, but is able to be adjusted for people much larger---my boyfriend can wear it if the situation arises even if it's not his color. The open side panels allow for limited restriction of movement so it's great for paddling/kayaking, and very breathable. The vest has small Velcro fastened pockets that allow you to stash a spare key in your vest just in case---not a lot of space, but enough rm for a few small items. The front panel reflectors allow for great visibility at night so I feel safe paddling close to dusk. It's a great all around PFD. It's not perfect because it is still slightly bulky, but all PFDs are going to be a tad bulky. I love it for the price and think it's a great buy.
