MSR Fast Stash Shelter
The MSR Fast Stash is the next generation of cutting-edge ultralight shelters. This quick-deploy shelter comfortably sleeps 2 adults with room inside for large packs or canine companions. Fast Stash is a modified A-frame single-wall, floored tarp shelter that provides protection from wind, rain, cool temperatures and insects. Includes poles for easy setup; or set it up with your trekking poles (sold separately) or by stringing it up from trees if you desire greater weight efficiency. Large mesh door and side mesh panels provide exceptional ventilation and views. Front door panel can be opened or closed for the appropriate balance between warmth and ventilation; mesh strip above the door allows constant air movement throughout the tent. Wide front awning and wings over side mesh panels add external coverage; wings can be partially closed or pulled back completely for maximum airflow. Even in the worst rainstorms the wings provide complete coverage while still allowing generous ventilation; they also serve as wind deflectors and add structural sturdiness. With the front window opened and the side wings rolled back, you have nearly 180° of unobstructed views. Fast Stash is designed for campers to sleep towards the door, leaving a protected space to store backpacks; this also serves to push out rear panel to maximize interior area. Front awning and side wings offer space to stash boots, stoves or other items you want covered but not inside the tent. Hang damp clothes on the interior hang loops; unique plastic hook centered on the ridgeline holds a headlamp for interior lighting. 2 end pockets offer quick access to small items. Heavy-duty Durashield™ polyurethane coating on the floor and a lighter weight coating on the walls ensure durable, waterproof, storm-worthy protection.
