The collapsible Mountainsmith Trekker FX monopod sets up quickly and doubles as a trekking pole. It's perfect for ultralight backpackers who want a stable platform for their cameras. Molded EVA handle with wrist strap has a top grip that screws off to reveal a standard 1/4-20 threaded bolt and locking ring for mounting a camera. Light, 3-section aluminum shaft with twist locks adjusts from 26 - 54 in. Rubberized tip on the end of the pole can be pulled off to expose a durable carbide tip.
