I wasn't super pleased with my lumbar pack at first, but I bought these babies and they are wonderful! They are super customizable and very comfortable, they make the pack perfect. You can reach into the pack and get anythng you need and it is great for hiking, you can even throw on a small camelback pack on without interference.

Great accessory, not unneeded complicati
I like a larger waist/butt pack for day hikes. Cooler to wear, stash enough stuff. The strapetteshelp keep the waist pack from flopping around and gives extra support when you cram the pack full of cargo. Easy to install and simple to use. I am an older guy now. Helps in its own small way to keep me on the trail. Also, my experience with Mountainsmith products is excellent.

These Things Really Work
I hate sagging lumbar packs, and these strapettes fix the sagging lumbar/fanny pack syndrome. They are easy to attach and really work.
