Mountainsmith Kit Camera Insert
This insert is great, I bought it for occasional use but now always keep it in my backpack - well padded protection for my camera, lenses etc.! Great for travelling.

Great addition to my lumbar pack
The dividers are easy to adjust to fit your equipment. The compartment is easy to remove from your pack.

Transforms any pack to a camera bag
I have used many camera specific backpacks but none of them are very comfortable for hiking, riding, etc. This fits well inside my REI Traverse 30. I can carry a Canon 7D with a 24-105 and a 70-200 f4 lens with room to spare. Saved my gear when my water bladder leaked in my pack too!

great for adapting regular backpacks
After trying several dedicated photo gear packpacks, I found this to be preferable for adapting a regular packpack to packing photo gear. I can move it between my pack and my carry on roller bag when traveling. Room for my T2i with 17-85 attached, plus 3 other lenses (10-22, 70-300, 50mm).Elastic bungee closure is a bit awkward to open. Top is fabric only, so no protection from above. I insert a thin layer of closed cell foam when needed.Very affordable solution.

compact, useful
for this price u can transform any backpack into a nice padded camera bag.. its just small enough to fit in any backpack and I had my 550d with 24-105l lens which is pretty big and a 24L and a 10-22mm in this pack.. but it was a little crampy.. it would be great for a camera body and 2 lenses just like the picture.. or a camera with 3 smaller lenses (most non L lenses for canon)could use a little pocket inside or outside for memory card but overall very simple and useful for me
