The Mountain Hardwear Matterhorn 32 in. convertible pants have a relaxed fit and a convenient design for adaptability in warm weather. Pant legs zip off, converting the pants to shorts in warm weather; zip the legs back on for increased coverage and greater warmth. Deep zippers allow easy on and off of lower leg sections over boots; shorts have an 11 in. inseam. Nylon fabric is rugged yet soft, and has a Durable Water Repellent finish that causes water to bead up and roll off. Fabric provides UPF 50+ sun protection, shielding skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. Micro-Chamois™ polyester-lined waist is soft and comfortable next to skin; integrated webbing belt fine-tunes the fit. Front hand pockets, 2 rear pockets and a side zippered pocket stow trail essentials. Reinforced seat and knees ensure long-lasting wear. Gusseted crotch allows unrestricted range of motion. Ankle cuffs can be cinched with a drawcord to help keep debris out of your boots.
