Montrail is finally back!
I'm a larger trail runner that requires a well built shoe with good cushioning for 100 mile ultramarathons. Loved the "old" Montrail Hardrock before post '09 design flaws destroyed it. Saw the new Badrock and deceided to give it a try. Was so pleased with the initial performance that I wore them for the Badger Mountain Challenge 100 mile trail race after only a few weeks of breaking in on technical trails. In my opinion, the new Badrock is the best overall trail shoe Montrail has made in a long time. Excellent tread/grip, cushioning, stability, relatively light weight, and great toe-box room for the long miles. Bought two more pairs after finishing the race. Nice job Montrail!
