good general-purpose tire
I use this tire on my rigid mountain bike which is also my commuter bike. The tire is noticeably lighter than the standard cheap mountain bike tires, which is great. I ride trails on this tire as well and I have been very pleased with its performance. It even works decently well in snow. It is a little bit narrow compared to some of the more serious mountain bike tires, so it doesn't have as good of flotation in mud or soft sand. I like the narrowness, however, because it fits inside my full length Planet Bike "Freddy" fenders. I am pleased with how long this tire has lasted--a couple years of more or less daily riding now and it is still going.

Excellent Tire!!
This tire is awesome! Great traction and control, country mud is a very long lasting tire.
