Worth the $
We live in the PNW and go to the mountains every weekend during snow season. After trying several other mittens from core outdoor brands, we got these and now they are the only ones we will buy. So easy to put on and - more importantly in our wet snow - they STAY on. The 3 year old wears them for snow play, skiing and on cold, wet days to the park. We'll be getting another pair this season for our second daughter. Well worth the extra cost. Thanks, Marmot for making such an excellent product for families who love snow.

Fantastic Mittens
These are great mittens for those who live in cold climates (Minnesota) where even the little kids HAVE to play outside or you go crazy in the winter. The best part of these is how they split wide open with a long velcro seam along the back. Even with a 15 month old, you can get their thumb in the thumb pocket because you're not trying to push their hand into the right places, you are simply placing them in there and then sealing the velcro over their hand.
