Marmot Precip Rain Pants - Men's Short

The Marmot PreCip® short-length men's pants set the rainwear standard for lightweight backpacking, hiking and mountain travel. Plus, it's eminently affordable. Improved PreCip still features a 2.5-layer waterproof, breathable polyurethane coating; ceramic particles enhance durability, waterproof reliability and Dry Touch comfort. The next-to-skin Dry Touch finish reduces condensation, helping to eliminate that clammy feeling. 100% taped seams seal out the elements. Marmot PreCip pants feature an easy-to-adjust elastic drawcord waist. Ankle side zippers with snap-tab cuff closures are easy to put on over shoes; tabs helps protect the zipper head. Zippered front pockets and 1 zippered back pocket.

Great pants for the money

I bought these pants a few years ago. I made a few minor adjustments to them. (putting a loop on the bottom and reinforcing the inner side on the bottom to prevent the crankset from ripping them) I use them the whole winter while biking to work every day and in the summer on rainy days. Next to that while hiking and sleding and whenever you do outside when the weather is wet. They are holding up very well, no wear on knees or butt. The opening on the bottom is big enough to get a size 12 shoe thru them and out of them. I am truly surprised by these pants considering the costs.
