Description

Marmot Limestone 6P Tent

The Marmot Limestone 6P family tent has plenty of room for 6 people and their gear. Perfect for weekend camping trips, it has large doors and even has a door mat! Spacious dome design offers deluxe headroom and livability; mesh doors, mesh ceiling and side panels increase ventilation to reduce condensation buildup. DAC Pressfit poles feature a pressed-in ferrule, ensuring the poles will remain strong and reliable. Combination pole sleeve and clip system combines advantages of both and allows swift setup even in windy conditions. UV-resistant, seam-sealed polyester rainfly doesn't stretch or expand when wet, ensuring a consistently taut pitch. Heavy-weight oxford canopy floor is fully taped for complete protection. 2 large D-shape doors on the Marmot 6P tent provide easy access. Removable door mat helps keep tent tidy; removable hanging vestibule pockets organize the small stuff. Includes stuff sacks, stakes and guylines/tighteners.

Fantastic Tent

This is a fantastic tent. It is too heavy for backpacking, but it is perfect for car-camping and just about anything else. It can be set up by one person, but it is much easier with two. After a little practice, two people can set up the tent with fly and guylines in about ten minutes. It survived 50mph winds and an hour of torrential rains with no problems whatsoever.

NO PRIVACY & TRAPS BUG'S LIKE & TORE!

I bought this tent for my family of 3 Upgrading from a tent for 4. It was a breeze to set up all by myself. Unfortunately with out the rain fly on it There is Absolutely NO PRIVACY!!! there are no weather window's or any way to create privacy with out the rain tarp on. tore on the second night.

I bought this tent for my family of three because our 4 person tent was too cramped and hard to set up. It is in fact an easy tent to set up though has absolutly no privacy what so ever. Over half of the tent is sheer mesh and there are no privacy pannels for this... Esp bad considering the mesh panels are all at waist hight... So with out the rain tarp over it everyone sees everything inside including you... Than once the rain tarp is on there is no way to see out as the rain tarp has no windows.... Best of all once you are inside and the outer weather tarp is zipped up bug's get in from the bottom & gather all around the tent, getting trapped between the tarp and the tent. We had some yellow jackets get stuck inside the tarp and they got super agitated. when we needed to get out of our tent they proceeded to

Awesome Tent!

I originally purchase the 6P after upgrading from a 4. The first tent I got it is was missing a loop in the ceiling so I took it back and got a new one. This is a great tent and set up was a breeze. Speaking of breezes the tent held up nicely during a particular wind storm during the night. The temp was so hot that I didn't bother with the rain fly. The wind was blowing off and on every 15 min or so and some of the gusts were pretty strong and only once did the tent show any sign of movement. I am 5'10 and like the fact that I can stand up in it and fit two folding cots pushed together with a queen mattress to sleep on. I am very impressed with this tent and look forward to many camping trips in the future. I have already recommended this tent to my friends and we are the envy of the camp grounds wheneve

Great for car camping with family

I don't like to write reviews about a product until I have used it for a while. We have now taken this tent camping a number of times and I feel confident giving it my endorsement. Our camping crew consists of myself, my wife, my two daughters (6 and 9), and the occasional dog. Believe me when I say we are tough on our equipment, but after a number of trips with my rough and tumble kids, this tent is still going strong. A number of our trips this summer have been VERY wet. During our most recent trip, our tent pad was in standing water. At no point during any of these storms have we ended up wet inside the tent. As a big guy, I also appreciate the amount of space inside the tent. It's great to be able to stand up inside and to have room for our brood with room to spare. I would definitely

KOOL TENT

Kool tent, The tent is little bit expensive but once you set it up you will see there are not many tents like it. We use 3 xl apls sleeping pads, and we still have enough room for our gear and room for the dog. 2 door setup is great. We usually bring our bikes. We have 1 29", 26" and 20" kid bike, and they all fit in the back covered area. They don't get wet at all in rainy days. It is a big tent, inside storage is ok. I like the little window idea. It is easy to set it up. One person can set it up less than 10 mins.

Great Purchase

While it is easy to set up, putting on the fly alone is moderately challenging, especially in the wind. I have used it twice, the first time in heavy wind and the second time
