Decent suburban 'hiking' jacket
I use this jacket mostly in the fall and before the snow flies. The rain just slides right off, keep me completely dry. I wish it was just a little warmer, but if you're moving around, it'll do the job in temps over 30 degrees.I haven't washed it yet, but so far, it's very 'crinkly' and a bit stiff.

Marmot Gravity Jacket
Wear it around town, back and to work, evenings after snowboarding, etc., -- generally as single outerwear layer. Size M fits well for 6.0 ft person, 160 lb. Adjustment for wrist and waist are useful and well designed.There is space for a light sweater as a mid layer if necessary. Warm enough for temperatures near 32F or 0C by itself. For more vigorous athletic activities, the more expensive versions with pit zips and hood are recommended.The label "MARMOT" on the front left is a bit large -- Marmot should simply use their icon/symbol and be subtle about it. They also have the Marmot icon on the right sleeve.

i've got other marmot softshells. all of them are large and fit me perfectly.i ordered a large gravity jacket and it was far too small.i only tried it on, realized it was too small and returned it, so thats all i can review on.
