Great Rain Jacket
The jacket held up great during a day hike in the Shenandoah Mountains. I didn't get wet from the rain inside the jacket and the breathability was better than expected. I obviously sweated a lot since it's summer, but the armpit vents helped a lot. The outside of the jacket was close to completely dry about an hour after it stopped raining. The jacket is close to true to size, but a little bit big in the chest. My guess is if you want to wear another warm layer, it'd be nicely snug. I was just wearing a t-shirt underneath.

Awesome jacket
Coached youth lacrosse game in an all day downpour, the only thing wet at the end of the day was my feet! Covered Unicoi Gap to Dicks Creek Gap on the AT in rainstorm all weekend, jacket held up great.

Good looks. Great Value.
Great balance between form and function. The Aegis is an excellent wind and rain stopper. Probably not the most breatheable jacket, so the pit zippers come in handy. This jacket is sensibly priced and looks killer.

Good jacket
I like this jacket for ice climbing, when layered it breaks the wind. Doesn't restrict movement. Only thing that keeps me from rating it perfect is the zipper-some times you have to play with it a little to disengage-
