Best rope I've ever owned
This is my first rope so I can only compare it to climbing friends ropes. It is not too heavy, I only had to switch shoulders carrying my rope bag once on a 1.5 mile uphill hike. I caught a friend on a whipper and the dynamic stretch was great, I was barely tugged forward. Overall, I am very happy with this rope, thanks REI.

Great rope
I bought this rope on sale with a friend and we had our local gym cut it in half for indoor use. I realize it's a dry rope, but the price, length, and brand just couldn't be beat. I've used it quite a bit so far and it hasn't let me down. I'm sure it would be just as terrific outdoors. Strong, durable, diameter is perfect for my belay devices, lightweight...

Kinks badly
I picked this up with my REI dividend in March, and after 36 pitches (I counted), it's become impossible to use due to kinks it develops during use. I've run it through a belay device from end to end to try to remedy the problem, but it's beyond help.
