Haven't died Yet!!!!!
This is a pretty heavy rope because of the 10.5 diameter but other than its weight I cant find any reason to buy another rope! Compared to other ropes I have used this one was very easy to control through belay devices and stretches the perfect distance on falls, not to far not too hard. I am a northwest climber and this rope has been with me on four over night trips this year to Leavenworth where most top roping spots for the average level climber can be reached by foot so falling on lead holds while trying to clip in a heavy rope hasn't been an issue. I choose to get a NON Dry rope because a Dry rope with the same length and thickness was out of my price range. Who climbs wet rocks anyways? Bottom line: If you got some muscle on your bones and want a strong and durable non-dry rope with out spending your whole pay check, I highly recommend this product. If weight is an issue and you are worried about being able to hold on to a crimper while pulling your rope up to clip in then get a thinner rope. Just keep in mind that a thin rope has half the falls as this one so you will have to replace ropes more frequently.

Good indoor rope
I use this as an indoor climbing gym rope. In fact, I had it cut in half, since I don't need more than 25m at the gym I go to (AIGUILLE in longwood, fl - WOOT!). It serves its purpose well so far. I wouldn't take this rope outdoors.

A definite buy
I try to climb twice a week every week and have been using this rope for over a month now. It is a very reliable and durable rope that is very easy to take care of and keep clean.

Great lead rope
This is my second mammut rope. Great size for trad climbs that have sharp rock! Very stretchy!

Good rope
This was my first rope ever purchased. I have only used it for indoor climbing so far, but plan on taking it outdoor soon. Has worked well and the few falls it has taken it handled just fine. I love the way it feels in a belay device and it's super easy to clip-in while lead climbing. Overall, it is a good rope even though it isn't dry treated. That will probably be my next purchase and I'll definitely consider another Mammut rope.
