The Best All Inclusive Mexico Vacations

The Best All Inclusive Mexico Vacations
Mexico provides an endless array of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. While some people enjoy independent vacations, others prefer the convenience of an all-inclusive resort. There are many of these in Mexico. Some are suitable for sun-worshipers and partiers. Others cater specifically to those who love being outside.

Xpu Ha Palace

The Xpu Ha Palace is situated on the Riviera Maya. It is built on the former Xpu Ha Ecopark. The resort is about an hour away from the Cancun International Airport. Unlike other Mexican all-inclusive mega resorts, Xpu Ha Palace features man-made thatched-roof, cabana-style villas. In addition to snorkeling and kayaking, this all-inclusive, eco-friendly resort offers a full selection of land activities. Guests can take guided tours through deer snake and exotic bird exhibits. Knowledgeable local guides lead tours through the Mayan jungle. Xpu Ha Palace is pet-friendly. The resort even provides daytime pet-sitting service at no extra charge. Prices range from $267 to per room, per night. Price depends on the season, as well as the number of people in the room, and includes room, meals and all activities.

Rancho La Puerta

Don't let the word "spa" fool you. Although Rancho La Puerta is owned by the owners of the Golden Door, this is not a pampered vacation. Your day begins with a choice of morning hikes, which range from two and a half to four miles. Throughout the day, you can participate in typical spa activities, such as yoga, Pilates and cardiovascular training, or you can take advantage of "nature's gym," and participate in some of the fitness walking and trekking classes. Keep in mind, Rancho La Puerta is not a beach resort. It is located the foot of the 3,885-foot Mount Kuchumaa. Birdwatchers will be pleased with the vast number of birds that inhabit the area. These include herons, owls, humming birds, blackbirds and swallows. Rates range between $2,795 and $4,380 per person, per week. Rates depend on season and room size, and include everything except spa services.
