Two Star Hotels Near the Tower of London

Kensington Gardens Hotel

Kensington Gardens Hotel is highly recommended by several guides and the English Tourist Board. This restored, homey Victorian is located near Portobello Market and Kensington stores. Its full continental breakfast includes fresh fruits and fruit juices and yogurt. The hotel is near Hyde Park, which offers trails for jogging and bicycling, paddle boats, and the opportunity to explore the green space and view local song birds and water birds.

Rose Court Hotel

The Rose Court Hotel is also within walking distance of Hyde Park. Within Hyde Park, the Tennis Centre has bowling greens, tennis courts and changing rooms. The Lido, also within the park, offers daily swimming during the summer and a famous Christmas Day race. Even though it is a low-cost hotel, the Rose Court provides concierge service to assist guests with booking transportation services, tours and tickets.

Sheriff Inn

The Sheriff Inn is a colorful bed-and-breakfast located in Westminster (central London). It boasts a modern decor and some of the small touches of a more expensive hotel. The hotel is a short walk from Victoria Station. Covent Garden is two miles away, and St. James Park, Green Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are a short ride north. St. James has a daily pelican feeding and demonstration garden, providing free gardening ideas and advice to the public.
