The Best Seafood Restaurants in Savannah

The Best Seafood Restaurants in Savannah

Sitting on Georgia's small stretch of Atlantic coastline, Savannah is an old city whose charms date back to colonial days. The seafood in Savannah has a good reputation, as well it should. The local fishing guarantees a selection of good, in-season catches, while the local Low Country southern culture puts a pride of place on hospitality and good cooking. This makes going out for shellfish or grilled catch of the day a great way to wind down a demanding day spent exploring the Georgia backwaters or on the local beaches.

Belford's

Its crab cakes won a 2001 Best Menu Item award, and its shrimp, greens and grits earned a 2004 Best Entree award from Southern Living magazine. The average entree was priced at $27 in 2009.
