Harborside Inn of Boston
When staying in Boston, it's hard to do better than the Harborside Inn. This comfortable, moderately priced hotel was created in 1997 from an abandoned warehouse. The rooms are large and feature charming nautical decor. All rooms feature flat screen TVs, CD/DVD players and free Wireless Internet. It's name is rather misleading; the hotel is not actually located on the harbor. However, the Charles river is a mile a way, and its waters offer a variety of exciting activities such as kayaking, fishing and canoeing.

Boston Park Plaza
The Boston Park Plaza is an elegant, rather expensive hotel which was built back in 1927. Throughout the years many presidents, business mongols and other luminaries have slept here while staying in Boston. The rooms have a pleasing, polished appearance; they are outfitted with cherry wood furnishings and cream tones. Cable TV is included free in all the rooms, but use of the internet requires a surcharge. This hotel houses a fine restaurant called The Swan Cafe and a swanky nightclub which goes by the name of the Whiskey Park Lounge.

Boston Lenox Hotel
Built in 1900, the Boston Lenox hotel masterfully fuses elegant tradition with modern sensibility. The lobby looks like something out of the roaring twenties: there are ornate ceilings, brass chandeliers and a gas fireplace. The rooms are outfitted in rich colors with comfy armchairs and furnishings from the colonial era. The rooms also include free wireless service and cable TV. Not far from the Boston Lenox, you'll find some of the most exciting activities and fascinating places to see while staying in Boston. The hotel is near the chic Newbury Street shopping district, the Hynes convention center and the lovely public gardens, famed for their swan boats.
