Meadowlake Golf and Swim Club

Located on 39th Street NE, the Meadowlake Golf and Swim Club is an 18-hole golf course designed to test a golfer's skill. With course hazards and narrow fairways, the golf course is great for beginning golfers and experts alike. When the game is finished, stop by the club's pro shop and do some shopping or take a dip in their huge outdoor pool.

Ohio and Erie Canalway

The Ohio and Erie Canalway is made up of more than 70 miles of trails that runs through many cities, including Canton, and serves several purposes. Guests can enjoy a brisk walk, a long hike, or cycle their way along the trail. In addition, guests are also permitted to fish at the canalway. Throughout the long trail, visitors can delight in many historic sites, discover small museums and bask in the natural beauty of the area.

Cook's Lagoon

Cook's Lagoon is a small park on Mahoning Road. The small fishing pond is a perfect place to fish with children or for those who may not want to make fishing a whole-day adventure. Surrounding the pond is a .25 mile trail that's adorned with benches and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.

Frank Esmont Park

In addition to the picnic areas and small memorial garden, Frank Esmont Park is home to a six-mile looped trail that hikers can enjoy. The trail leads hikers under a silver maple tree canopy as it circles around, following Nimishillen Creek. The trail forms a complete circle ending back at the parking lot where the hikers began their journey.
