Costa Rica Vacation Ideas
If you're planning a vacation to Costa Rica, you'll find many options to suit your interests. If you enjoy hiking, consider taking a tour of some of the many volcanoes around the country, some of which are still active. If you love scuba diving, you can plan your vacation around the many Costa Rica dive sites and see beautiful reefs and incredible sea life.

Scuba Diving

Costa Rica is extremely popular for scuba divers. You'll find large reefs along the Caribbean coast at Cahuita National Park although it is the waters of the Pacific where some of the best diving can be found. Culebra Bay and Bat Islands are popular spots if you want to look for sharks or manta rays. Santa Catalina Island is another good dive site for spotting big fish. Cocos Island is another popular dive site. Visibility at Cocos Island is great year round and in the water surrounding the island it is not uncommon to see dolphins and hammerhead sharks. Undersea Hunter offers dive trips to Cocos Island.
