Scuba Diving
Costa Rica is extremely popular for scuba divers. You'll find large reefs along the Caribbean coast at Cahuita National Park although it is the waters of the Pacific where some of the best diving can be found. Culebra Bay and Bat Islands are popular spots if you want to look for sharks or manta rays. Santa Catalina Island is another good dive site for spotting big fish. Cruise

Volcanoes
According to the website Go Visit Costa Rica, Costa Rica has more than 200 volcanic formations that date back more than 65 million years. The volcanoes around Costa Rica are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Poas Volcano is the most easily accessible volcano, located in Poas National Park. Out of the three craters there, one is still active and has a boiling acid lake. Arenal, located in Arenal National Park is a perfect cone shaped volcano and is the most active volcano in Costa Rica.
