Gundel is one of the more popular Hungarian restaurants in the city and rates high with foreign tourists. The inside of the restaurant was decorated with early 20th century furnishings, and original Hungarian artwork hangs on all the walls. This upscale restaurant is also known for its Gundel pancake, with chocolate sauce poured over a rolled pancake stuffed with walnuts and seasonings.

Alabardos
Alabardos sits inside a 400-year-old building and has an emphasis on dishes that use local meats. However, you can find lighter choices here, including salads, and you can balance a meat dish with a vegetable on the side. The restaurant is fairly expensive, but it does have an outdoor terrace that's open during the summer months and provides a view of the landscape.
