Fun Restaurants in NYC For Kids

Malia Autio

When we think of New York City, we usually think of sophisticated dining, trendy night clubs and nonstop shopping. But New York can be a family-friendly vacation spot, too. And since day trips outside the city for hiking, horseback riding and fishing are possible, New York can be a place where the entire family can relax and have fun. New York is famous for its restaurants, and there are many that are both fun and kid friendly.

Pizza

Two Boots is famous for its great pizza and kid-friendly atmosphere. Taking its name from the boot shape of Italy, Two Boots combines Cajun and Italian cooking for an eclectic eating experience that will satisfy everyone in the family.

Since its inception in 1954, Serendipity 3 mixes charm and childlike innocence with elegant Tiffany lighting and a menu that features everything from burgers to grilled fish. Serendipity 3's real claim to fame, though, is its frozen hot chocolate, which brings celebrities and former presidents to this whimsical hot spot.
