Larchmont Hotel
A more affordable Manhattan hotel can be found in Greenwich Village. The Larchmont Hotel may not be as fancy as other places, but if you are looking for a European-style experience, this is the spot. The rooms feature a writing desk and a little library as well as a wash basin. You'll have to share the bathroom down the hall, but the cost makes up for that inconvenience. The staff speaks many languages, making the Larchmont Hotel idea for international visitors.

Belvedere Hotel
The Belvedere Hotel is located in Midtown and offers both deluxe and executive rooms, the primary difference being that the executive rooms offer more luxury, such as marble bathrooms. Befitting a boutique hotel, the fitness center is on the small side, but has state of the art equipment. The concierge service is excellent. The best thing about the Belvedere Hotel is its proximity to the theatre district and the nearby restaurants so you don't have to pay for a cab to get good food.
