J. Sheekey
J. Sheekey is a member of the family of restaurants that also includes Ivy and Caprice. Sheekey is easier to get into, but reservations still are recommended. The restaurant is laid out in the form of four connected rooms, giving it a nice, open ambiance. Menu selections include exotica like jellied eels as well as more traditional fare like lobster and crab. The restaurant is famous for its fish pie and serves up old-world desserts like rhubarb pie.

Geales
This West London tradition has been serving up seafood for more than six decades. It's very popular so reservations are highly recommended. The king of entrees here is the old-fashioned battered fish that, yes, comes with chips, though this is certainly not just another fish and chips joint. Proof of that is in the unique crab and leek tart. Other good choices are the grilled skate wing and smoked salmon.

North Sea Fish Restaurant
Bloomsbury is home to this restaurant near the British Library. The decor is very traditional with wood furniture and red velvet seating. The food is fairly traditional as well, with menu selections including fish soup, fish cakes and one of the biggest servings of fish and chips in the entire country. And that's just the standard fish and chips. Order the jumbo selection only if you plan on sharing with your kids.

Mr. Fish
At least you know what you're getting at a restaurant called Mr. Fish. It may not look like much from the inside, but the restaurant has quite a good reputation for the food it serves. The menu is as simple as the name, offering items like cod and chips, grilled haddock and fish chowder. The restaurant also has a very nice wine list.
