Additionally, the $1 walking fee is waived for those in your party who simply want to watch you fish. The large Springmaid Beach Resort has three buildings, which include the Live Oak building, Palmetto Dunes and Cypress. One-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites are available. the resort is within walking distance of Brookgreen Gardens, which is home to a sculpture garden, as well as the Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve.

The Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort is in close proximity to Myrtle Beach para-sailing and sea kayaking. It also offers tennis privileges at a local, private tennis club. Pier fishing, and jet ski and catamaran rentals are available at the hotel.
